Tokenomics Overview

COI spotlights a growing selection of sustainable, ocean-friendly goods created by brands committed to tackling marine plastic pollution. All products are manufactured using primarily reclaimed ocean plastic.

Thanks to advances in recycling technology, ocean plastic can now be transformed into high-quality products such as shoes, sunglasses, apparel, and home goods. Notable brands like Adidas and Patagonia are already producing items made entirely from ocean plastic. Our marketplace is excited to highlight these sustainable options to conscious consumers.

Supporting these innovative brands supports cleaner oceans and reduces global plastic waste, primarily by altering the economics of global plastic retrieval efforts. If there is end user consumer demand for ocean-plastic based products, there will be greater demand for the plastic itself, incentivizing these brands to continue their support of clean up initiatives across the world.
